Most EVs have a 8 year \/ 160,000km warranty (or more) and are rated for 3,000 to 5,000 cycles.<br \/><br \/>Which means you should expect 900,000km (550,000 miles) or more of vehicle service, or almost 3 times the average vehicle life span. <br \/><br \/>Remembering too that cycle life usually rates to 70% of original specification capacity. In other words, if you are OK with reduced range, the vehicle will likely have many, many more servicable miles after that.<br \/><br \/>Which means that you&#8217;ll likely decide you want a new car WAY before the battery calls it quits.
